Your purchase or rental of products from us constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them. These Terms and Conditions May Change Charter reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site. Return Policy You agree to take possession of the ordered merchandise in good condition. Any returns or exchanges must be handled within two weeks from the original delivery on regular/in stock merchandise and are subject to handling, delivery, pickup, reconditioning or other charges. To receive full credit, all merchandise must accompany the original sales receipt and must be in the same condition as when purchased, complete with accessories, instructions, original box and packaging (if the item was picked up). Merchandise not meeting these requirements may not be accepted for return, or will be accessed a restocking charge. Beyond this period we will work as your authorized agent to correct any factory/manufacturing defects. Exclusions: We make no warranties beyond the written description of your merchandise unless otherwise stated by us in writing. We disclaim any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose other than those presented and approved in writing prior to the sale This disclosure does not affect the manufacturer’s warranty, if any: especially regarding upholstery fabrics, which are not warranted against wear, shrinkage, fading or tearing unless specifically stated on the product itself. Charter does not assume any responsibility for the replacement of such furniture. If your merchandise is delivered and you wish to have Charter pickup the merchandise, you will be charged for:
Miscellaneous labor fees such as setup, assembly, installation or design services are not refundable. Charges for Fabric Protection and Leather Care are not refundable after it has been applied to your merchandise. Rental products are subject to the terms and conditions detailed in the Rental Agreement. Special or Custom orders are not subject to cancellation and must be secured with a minimum, non-refundable deposit of 25% of the purchase price. Some special orders can require non-refundable deposits up to 100% of the purchase price. It is clearly understood that availability is estimated according to the information on hand at the time your order is placed with us. Actual availability may vary from this estimate. You agree and understand that changes in availability will not invalidate your order. Charter cannot and be responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control. Clearance and "as is" sales are final; No returns, exchanges or refunds. Parts orders are not returnable or refundable. Installation Disclaimer We will make all efforts to deliver and install items to the location of your choice within your home or building. It is understood that many items are heavy and awkward and that their movement within confined areas exposes interior surfaces to the risk of rubs or scratches. The purchaser accepts this risk and understands that Charter does not assume responsibility for repairs or reimbursement. Refunds Any refund due on orders paid by credit card or finance company account will be refunded to the account of original payment. Refunds due on orders paid by cash or check will be refunded by check. Please allow ten days from the date of payment for processing if your order was paid by check.
